City Clerk / Finance Manager Duties
- Finance Operations of City Hall
- Disbursements upon Council approval
- Execution of Council resolutions and directions regarding public notices

- Maintaining Eldridge’s official records and receiving legal documents on behalf of the City
- Developing and maintaining systems of internal control to safeguard Eldridge’s financial assets

Billing Clerk Duties
- Preparing customer utility bills
- Creating and maintaining billing records and other utility documents
- Coordinating and managing customer service requests
- Managing day-to-day operations at City Hall
Assistant City Administrator Duties
- Overseeing City operations in the absence of the city administrator
- Coordinating the City’s economic development programs and activities
- Serving as a staff resource for the Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment
City Administrator Primary Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the overall direction of all City activities
- Carrying out City Council intentions and policies
- Supervising City department heads
- Developing the staff needed to complete city tasks and work
- Ensuring work is completed with high standards of quality and performance

Title VI / Nondiscrimination Notice
The City of Eldridge hereby gives public notice that it is the policy of the City of Eldridge to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, related statutes and regulation provide that no person shall on the ground of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. The Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 amended Title VI to specify that entire institutions receiving federal funds, whether schools, colleges, government entities, or private employers, must comply with Federal civil rights laws, rather than just the programs or activities that receive federal funds.
We are also concerned about the impacts of our programs, projects and activities on low income and minority populations (“Environmental Justice”) under Title VI.
