Municipal Fire Chief

Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 annually
Status: Full-Time | Exempt

The City of Eldridge is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to serve as its inaugural municipal Fire Chief. This is a unique opportunity to guide the formation of the City’s newly established hybrid department and shape the future of fire and emergency services for one of Iowa’s fastest-growing communities.

The Fire Chief will provide strategic leadership during the transition from a volunteer to a municipal hybrid (full-time Chief with a volunteer base) fire department while establishing organizational culture, recruiting personnel, developing operational policies, overseeing budgeting and equipment acquisition, and ensuring exceptional emergency response services.
