The Fun Station

The Fun Station in Eldridge is a go-to destination for family-friendly entertainment, offering 40,000 square feet of safe, clean, and exciting fun for all ages. Rustic Ridge Golf Course

Glynns Creek Golf Course

Glynns Creek Golf Course offers a premier golfing experience just 15 minutes outside of Eldridge, in scenic Scott County Park. This championship 18-hole, par-72 course features rolling hills, tree-lined fairways, and a layout reminiscent of Scotland’s great courses, making it enjoyable for both beginners and avid golfers. With a fully stocked golf shop, driving range, and stunning natural surroundings, Glynns Creek is the perfect place to tee off and enjoy the day.

North Scott YMCA

Dive into the indoor aquatic center featuring a zero-depth entry family pool with playful water features, a large 6-lane lap pool, relaxing sauna, and Jacuzzi. Enjoy the a state-of-the-art strength and cardio center, an indoor track, a full-size gymnasium, and a spacious group fitness studio.

40th Annual Moonlight Chase

July 12, 2025

The Moonlight Chase is one of Eastern Iowa’s most unique road races. The fun run is held on the streets of Eldridge with the entire 4-mile course lined with luminaries. The evening includes 1/4 mile and 1-mile runs for kids, as well as the 4-mile competition. The Moonlight Chase is the pinnacle event to the Eldridge Festival.

National Night Out

First Tuesday in August

Don’t miss our bi-annual police department event, which brings the community together to build relationships and take a stand against crime. This free family event provides an opportunity for children to meet local first responders and get an up-close experience with emergency vehicles. The fun includes food, live music, bounce houses, and some very special guests!

Hometown Holiday

First Friday in December

Join us for our annual holiday tradition! Downtown Eldridge transforms into a winter wonderland complete with horse and carriage rides and visits from Santa and the Grinch! Take a festive walk downtown to visit participating businesses for games and crafts, bid on locally made holiday wreaths, and listen to carolers!

Shop with a Cop

December

The Eldridge Police Department brings holiday cheer to local children through their annual Shop with a Cop event. Each child shops with a police officer for gifts for loved ones, then heads to the Eldridge Community Center and Skate Park for a festive gift-wrapping party. Thanks to generous donations from citizens and local businesses, kids leave with wrapped presents ready to place under their trees.

K-9 Golf Outing

The Annual Eldridge Police Department K-9 Golf Outing is held in May each year at Rustic Ridge Golf Course. This exciting event brings the community together to support our K9 program and Officer Marty. The fun, teamwork, and support help make this day such a success.

Battle of the Badges

September

The Eldridge Police Department and Eldridge Fire Department face off in an annual Battle of the Badges event — a fun, family-friendly competition that brings our community together while supporting a great cause. From athletic challenges to light-hearted games, the event highlights the strength, teamwork, and camaraderie of our local first responders.
